Join OSUACNM for our Spring Speaker!

April 10, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This year’s Spring Speaker is Dr. David Hothersall, Professor Emeritus in the Ohio State Department of Psychology. The topic of his talk is “The history and traditions of OSU, with an emphasis on significant people and events in the university’s history.” This promises to be a fascinating subject – our very own Sam Smith has previously heard Dr. Hothersall speak on this, and tells us that this is a must-hear for every Buckeye!

The cost of the event is $15 to cover the meal, which will be paid at the door. The club will cover expenses for soft drinks, tax, and other incidentals. All New Mexico Buckeyes are strongly encouraged to participate in this fun and exciting opportunity, which will be held at the iconic El Pinto restaurant. This is one of our major events for the year, and we want to show off our great Buckeye spirit here in New Mexico! Please contact Marie Lobo at lobo.1@osu.edu to let her know if you plan to attend.

Speaker biography: Dr. David Hothersall joined the faculty of the Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University in 1968 and reached the rank of full professor in 1976. He has received a number of teaching awards, including Ohio State’s Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching and the Colleges of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Teaching Award. Dr. Hothersall directed the Honors Program at The Ohio State University from 1990-98. He is now a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Psychology.
